-Description

Audemars Piguet was founded in Le Brassus in the Vallée de Joux by Jules-Louis Audemars and Edouard-Auguste Piguet.

It is the oldest watch brand consistently run by the founding family since 1875.

Since its founding, it has been manufacturing complication watches such as perpetual calendars, chronographs, and Sonnerie watches, and together with Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin, it is known as one of the world's three major brands.

This watch is a self-winding dress watch Ref.5274 produced in 1970s.

The case is made of stainless steel, which is rare for an AP watch of this era, and has an integrated bracelet.

We have been able to confirm white gold and yellow gold Ref 5274 watches with an integrated bracelet, but we haven't a stainless steel one, which is very rare.

The case size is 33.5mm, which is not too small.

The dial is a silver dial. It has a slightly grayish hue. It has a matte finish rather than a sunray finish.

It is a very simple design with thin bar indexes, old-generation AP font, and only Automatic notation.

I feel that it is a dress watch that has two hands even though it is self-winding.

The movement is Cal. 2120, based on Jaeger-LeCoultre's Cal. 920, AP's most famous self-winding movement.

21K gold is used for the outer circumference of the rotor, and you can see the fineness of the finishing of each part suitable for an ultra-luxury movement.

It was manufactured for a long period of time from 1967 to 2006, and the Royal Oak also used this movement.

Official AP documentation confirms that this watch, Ref. 5274, was one of the first models to be equipped with the Cal. 2120.

The integrated bracelet is a mesh type, also known as a Milanese bracelet. The current wrist circumference is 18cm.

The left side of the bracelet at 12 o'clock shows a slight scuffing mark, but overall is in very good condition.
