-Description

Jaeger-LeCoultre was founded in 1833 in the Joux Valley, Switzerland, known as the "Valley of Complicated Watches".

It is known as a "true manufacture" that produces all parts in its own workshop called "Grand Maison" and assembles it.

It has a history of supplying movements to Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin, and its technology stands out among many watch manufacturers.

This watch Ref 4442 is a hand-wound dress watch with a square case and a snow patterned dial.

The case is made of 18K white gold. The size is 27x27mm, which gives the impression of a slightly modest size.

There are various types of square cases, but this watch has a straight design with a slightly thick bezel and lugs.

The crown is set with a cabochon-cut sapphire.

The dial is a silver dial that has turned ivory with age.The main feature of the dial is a snowflake dial with an uneven pattern that looks like snow falling on it.

The combination is very simple: thin bar indexes and baton hands.

The movement is a hand-wound Cal. P838, which at the time was the world's thinnest movement with seismic protection.

It is a famous movement that has carried Jaeger-LeCoultre on its back for a long time due to its durability, and was also used in some watches such as Cartier Tank Reverso.
