-Description

The history of OMEGA began when watchmaker Louis Brandt established a workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848. The company name OMEGA originated from the name given to a high-quality movement released in 1894.

Constellation is a high-end line of Omega watches that features a dressy design and a highly accurate movement, and its main feature is the observatory engraving on the caseback. Currently, it is a collection with a more dress watch-like design.

This Ref. 1103.60.00 is an 18K red gold watch with an integrated bracelet. It is characterized by the integrated design of the case and bracelet.

The bezel with four claws, inherited from the Constellation “Manhattan” watch introduced in 1982, is eye-catching.

In addition, the half-moon facets on the top and bottom sides of the case create a sense of unity between the bracelet and the case, giving it a more sophisticated impression.

The case is made of 18K red gold, which has a higher copper content than pink gold (rose gold), giving it a reddish hue and a brownish appearance.

The dial is brown. The sunburst finish of the brown color matches the case. The diamonds set on the dial are rather small, giving the impression that they are not too conspicuous and shine casually.

The diamonds used are white in color and carefully selected from flawless to VVS (Very Very Slightly Included), the top three clarity levels.

The movement used is the automatic Cal.1120. This movement was used from 1994 to 2000 and is based on the ETA 2892-2. It is thin and highly accurate, and parts are very readily available, so you can expect long-term maintenance.

The bracelet is integrated with the case and is made of 18K red gold. It is a link type bracelet, but it is very flexible and comfortable to wear. It is adjusted to fit a wrist circumference of about 17.5 cm, and two additional links are included.

Constellation watches with integrated bracelet from this era are not particularly rare, but the number of red gold models is much smaller. In addition, the condition of the case, dial, movement, and bracelet is all very good, and all accessories are included.
